You're doing the right thing by NOT pulling at your skin. The area under the eyes is very sensitive to tugging and your are keeping your problem from getting worse by being gentle around your eye area.

One of the home remedies I regularly use is the cold pack (not ice pack). Right now, the weather is right that water from the tap is about ice cold. I wet a face towel and wring it out and then apply it onto my closed eyes until it warms to body temperature; repeating it twice or three times.

On really bad puffy days, I use the classic supermodel tip, Preparation H and it really does work! I just had to get used to how it felt on my skin as it feels like having petroleum jelly on. The trick is to use a very minimal amount, dab it onto your eye area with your ring finger. It should barely be visible. Leave it on a few minutes (to be absorbed) before you put on any make-up.
There are two kinds of it (at least) and I find the cream type feels better on my skin. See what works for you.

Oh, and keep yourself hydrated, too. If you drink a lot of liquids, it keeps your skin supple. Hopefully, it will help reduce the bags, too.

I hope this helps.

Cool cucumbers or a frozen spoon will reduce the puffiness of your eyes, and after using and cooling a teabag, putting that on your eyes for a while while reduce puffiness and reduce dark circles. A good night's sleep as much as you can will also help. Concealer or cover up will hide the dark circles and make it look not as puffy. There are also products available that will decrease puffiness, if your willing to pay.

Apply either cucumber slices to your eyes for about 10 mins or used tea bags. Put your head back, relax & the bags should shrink after the application.

Puffy bags under the eyes, especially in the morning, may indicate a lack of protein.

If you already have regular under eye creams that treat puffiness and dark spots you can put them in the refrigerator to give yourself the coolness as well as the ingredients in the cream.
