Generally, if the person's mother tongue is Arabic, his or her parents would have been Arabic. That person would be from Jerusalem of Arabic decent

My boyfriend is from Israel and he speaks Arabic, Hebrew and taught himself English. He is also a Muslim and he considers himself to be an Israeli simply because he was born and raised there. Also, his family is from there as well.
