me and my boyfriend are going to have sex and i was just wondering if there's any way i could catch something from him. he is a virgin as am i, but there's always that small chance that i could possibly get something. i guess you wouldn't even call it an std, maybe just an infection. we probably will not use a condom (not because we're irresponsible, just because we have no way of getting any), but i am on birth control that i take regularly. so is it possible that we may give each other something? i mean oral sex too.
please no one preach their beliefs on sex before marriage or something. im fully aware of the consequences and emotional effects of having sex.

thanks for your help!

If he is a virgin and you are a virgin then you would not catch anything. And by virgin makes sure he is a virgin in all areas, including oral sex. It is possible that although neither of you have had "penis into vagina "sex you could have gotten it from oral sex. If you have not done either than you will be fine.

You could get a urinary tract infection not from him but just from the act of having sex. to avoid this minor problem go pee right away after having sex. its an important thing that you don't realize your supposed to do.

Also, this isn't really your question but if you are nervous about it use a condom. You can buy them in any store pretty much. Target, walmart, cvs, even a lot of convenient stores have them. And if you don't have the money you can get free ones at a lot of places like planned parenthood. don't be embarrassed about buying them, have your boyfriend do it. that's what i do =) Youd don't have to be 18 or anything. But if you don't wanna use one i think you'll be alright.

I really hope that he TRUE LY is a virgin and isn't just saying that, since you're gonna take that risk and not use any protection. If your both virgins you most likely can't give each other an STD (unless one of you was born with HIV) But there is the possibility of passing on an infection. Make sure that both of you are CLEAN (genitals, hands, and fingers.)
Make sure you're Mentally and Physically READY to make this big step.

If you and your bf are both virgins than that's a good thing. But if you get an yeast infection you can pass it to him . So if you feel that you are getting a yeast infection than use a condom! If he feels that he has a infection or something than he should let you know and he should were a condom. Men can get yeast infections too . P/S don't forget you can get pregnant so if thats what u and your bf want than good luck!
