My mom is a diabetic, if she has too much salt/sodium, her hands, feet, and legs will swell up. How much sodium do you intake? If sodium is fine, than think of other types of food you take that might be causing this. You could also call up your family doctor and ask this questions. Personally, I also swell when I am on my menstrual cycle. I retain quite a bit of water, so much that i gain about 3 to 5 pounds just on my period!! That is crazy and make me miserable.

Hope you feel better soon! Good Luck!

You could possibly have high blood pressure or swelling of the heart, the beginnings of heart disease, or something serious. Have you gained a lot of weight recently?? This could also be the cause.
Whatever it is, it sounds serious enough to warrant a trip to your doctor.

Changing your diet to much fruits and vegetables will do you well. You want to stay away from alcoholic drinks, caffeine or any drugs. Something that may possibly help you immediately is charcoal, which will absorb any chemical reactions you may be having. You can take it in tablets.
