I have an office that I inhabit on weekends only as I am a doctor and have the clinic only then. The second floor has an apartment. The building is over 100 years old. The builder was a doctor in this small town who married late in life but, unfortunately, lost his young wife and daughter in the flu epidemic of 1917. When I redid the building,I found a cache of toys in the walls.
One night I was working late and heard a noise behind me; and there looking over the reception desk was a blond, blue-eyed child smiling at me without her two front teeth. She looked real and not diaphenous as in movies or Ghost Hunters. In a moment she disappeared. I, thinking that she was real, a child who had been left in the office or wandered in, searched the building top and bottom to no avail. The burglar alarm was on so that she could not have left via door or window without tripping the alarm.
On another occassion, the sheets were pulled off me in the middle of the night.
Many nights I hear like little kids' feet running downstairs when I am in the apartment.
Many of my patients have been in the building before. A prevous resident asked me if I had seen her.
So yes, I believe in ghosts...at least this one.

I just posted a question about a black hooded ghost that my husband and I both saw in our kitchen one evening. I haven't actually seen any other ghosts, however, weird things happen all the time. I have to take the minutes at meetings at work and I've gotten voices saying Hello on my tape recorder. I was also in my office alone one day with a tape recorder and asked if anyone was there to say hello and told them my name. When I played the tape back I heard very clearly, Hello Pat. The girls in my office were freaked out but it doesn't scare me at all.

A few years back my uncle was coming home from work. He pulled into the garage, he got out of his truck and there was a man standing by the door he said what are you doing ? The man didn't answer. My uncle asked again, still no answer. He when back to his truck to get his gun , he turned around and the man disappeared in a mist. A week later my cousin went into the bathroom, later my uncle went into the bathroom he came out and asked my cousin "why did you put the vase that was on the shelf, in the toilet? My cousin said he didn't. When my aunt and uncle moved into this house there was food still on the table, clothes in the closet, bills in the desk, money in the dressers and other personal effects the previous people had just walked out of the house and refused to go back into to it so you figure it out! Oh my aunt had a nervous break down a few months later and is still in the hospital. she has not spoken a word since so You do the math and figure it out.

I did a few years ago. Didn't even believe in them until I moved into a house that came whith a 'roommate'. Since then, I've been trying to figure out exactly what ghosts are. It's not an obsession with me, but I do watch 'Ghost Hunters' on the Sci-Fi channel. They have pretty good info. sometimes. Not to mention they have their own strange encounters that are very hard to dispute.

No I have not! But there can be ghost effects in eye vision! In an experiment with sub sounds (sounds that can not be heard by people and they are less than 20Hz frequency) the scientists discover that they saw some "vapor" figures in the air. They proved that in 14Hz sound appliances the light sensitive part of the eye could be effected by the mechanical wave. There was a disruption in the regeneration of the light sensitive molecules that give us the vision signals. Not permanent effects were discovered!

Actually I have. Seen one but experienced alot of activity. One Christmas my exhusband and I and our kids were driving home from a xmas party and we were driving down a country road at night and saw a man in a jogging suit crossing the road. We came right up upon him and he disappeared right in front of our car. Ive had experiences before and my husband never believed me but he believed me then!!!! Ive had things happen in my home in Chicago also. Weve had garage lights go back on when we all witnessed turning it of. I was at home all alone and a candle lid flew acroos the bathroom and stuck into the wall. My son was sitting behind a large chair and had a penny fall on his head when no one was around him. And the scariest one was being touched a few times. I felt someone dragging a finger down my leg!!!! So is that scary enough for ya!!!

I have. I saw a ghost at age 16. I never believed in them before I saw with my own eyes. Ever since I have been watching for them. I never saw another until I joined a Ghost Hunting group, and since then I've seen, felt, and heard things that I cannot explain away.

I believe you meant "saw"

Well anyway, no I have never seen a ghost. I want to sometimes. I been to haunted places, but never seen a ghost. It is almost as if the ghosts fear me because other people have been to the same places at the same the time and seen a ghost.

Haven't seen one. But I've had strange unexplainable things happen to me. Like lights going on and off when no one could have hit the switch. Also, once I left a certain room, and then when I came back later, an item had been moved from one place to another, and no one else had been there but me.

Yes. My brother died when he was 18 and I was 3, so I never really knew him... One night I was thinking about him alot, and I saw his presence next to my bed. It was like he came to say goodbye, and it's all going to be OK. My friend's mom had some bad expeiriences with ghosts, though, I think they were angry ghosts, because one of them grabbed her head in the middle of the night, and the dog was barking at the walls and they heard footsteps running through the hall when noone was there.
