I want to use a photo of mine as the background on my MySpace page. I don't know anything about making layouts (my friend always does them for me) but I've got nothing but time right now and thought I'd try it out for myself.

If you already have one as the background, just edit the code and change the name of the picture you want to use. Make sure the path is correct.

If not, do a MySpace search for Layouts and copy the code, changing the image to the one you want to use.

ya you def can. Ok, google myspace layout maker(the best out there is tom's myspace layout maker, but it doesnt matter. When your making your layout on there it will ask do you want a background pic...the problem is you have to enter an image location like from the internet. So, upload a pic onto your myspace pictures and then right click the image and click "copy image location" then go back to the myspace layout creator and paste that. Finish up and voila! you;ve got it

First you have to upload your picture to a place that will give you a URL for it. I have a photobucket account and have done this numerous times. If you set one up, you can upload your pic and it gives you the code you'll need. Then you find a simple Myspace layout generator ( you can google it and see TONS of them!) and where it asks for a background image, you can put your image URL in there...and VOILA! Be creative and have fun!

There must be because a friend of mine has done it. I personally don't have a page because my wife and I are private people. We don't want to be looked up on myspace.
