i went to immigrate to quebec

If you have kids they more than likely will be forced to go to a French school so just pay attention to that aspect.

Its a nice city but you may want to look at Calgary or Toronto depending on your ethnic background. Quebec is a little more
"racey" than some other places in Canada.

Quebec is not Canada, it is Quebec...it happens to be inside Canada but it is different. A great place to live but you will need to learn French to fit in here.

However, on the positive side, cost of living here is DIRT CHEAP compared to places like Toronto or Calgary. Employment opportunities are ok, not as good as other cities (but better than some too). Choices of things to do and places to go is limitless.

I was born here. But even if I wasn't I would pick Montreal because its a beautiful place with lots of things to do. There are alot of great people in Montreal!

It's a wonderful, beautiful city full of many cultures, and a thriving arts scene.
