Rubber hose inside metal flexible , burst by sound of it screw off rose turn on without to see flow . leaking less ? renew flexible hose . Loss of power could be filter choked , usually on inlet or hose connections , good luck hang loose dude .

It is either a tiny split in the flexible pipe or it could be a leak inside the shower head. Try another flexible pipe and if it still leaks it has to be the shower head that is at fault. Also check where the flexi pipe connects onto shower, their could be a hair line crack in it.

Most likely the flexible pipe is split somewhere or worse the outlet from the heater portion of the shower is damaged/split. How old is this shower ?
