My girlfriend and I are both virgins and do not want to have premarital sex. We feel strongly about it. We talked and decided that we went overboard this time with fooling around with our genitals and i ended up inserting quarter of my penis in her vagina. we think maybe we were both really horny and thats why we enjoyed it- even though my penis didn't go deep enough into her vagina. Did we both lose our virginity? WE REALLY WANNA KNOW! Thanks!!

You are not virgins anymore. It doesn't matter how much of your penis went into her vagina, it was in there.

No. You haven't even been dating long, right now both of you are in the clouds but I'd say wait longer to see how the relationship goes. And I know you don't want to hear about safe sex but if your waiting for the right moment and made up your mind then she might as well get on birth control cause your new to it and it will come back and bite you in the *** when she gets pregnant. You may think you know it all and are invincible, but no. Good luck.

I would put it like this, emotionally you are not. Psyhically yes, unless they hymen has broken then no she would no longer be a virgin. However just because you are psyhically are your mindset is not. It is always best to save it for the person you love. Apparently you are not mature enough to handle the reprocussions of loosing such a precious gift so I would say keep it in your pants. Rember as the old say goes "You play you pay". Consider this your wake-up call and try to restrain until you are emotionally and psychically ready. I could say unrealistically to wait till your married but these days this doesnt' appear to be the case.....

Good Luck!

A woman is a virgin when her hymen is intact. When a hymen is broken, her virginity is lost.

For a male virginity is not so clear, I am taking a guess that ejaculation during intercourse is a general belief. Some believe ejaculation while conscious (as opposed to asleep as in a wet dream). Some believe ejaculating when a woman is involved.

Something that was not asked, yet is important to know, is that during foreplay, a man will leak 'precum' from his penis, which has sometimes another name of 'super sperm'. Assuming your girlfriend was wet, and it was a time of the month your girlfriend was ready to conceive, you are at risk of getting her pregnant (unless you used some form of protection).

I never thought that it was possible for a virgin to conceive (like the 'virgin Mary'), though now it is obvious that a woman with her hymen intact, could get pregnant.

Yeah hate to say it but you two have officially had sex. This doesn't mean that you need to continue to do so, people are human we make mistakes. Now you two have to decide if you guys are going to continue or if you re going to not do this again. If you are going to continue then GET PROTECTION, this is very important.

that is how me and my boyfriend lost our virginity, i would be careful. i bled when my "cherry" broke. i dont think you lost your virginity, i mean, if you think about it, that is about how far a tampon goes in unless the boy is freakishly large....but no, if you just inserted it an inch or two, i would not consider that losing your virginity. if you are serious about the pre amrital no sex thing , then dont tempt your self!!!!

You were both "fooling around," so congrats - you're no longer virgins. Go ahead and get it on! Don't forget about birth control!

ONCE THERE IS AN INSERTION YOU ARE NOT VIRGIN ANYMORE.FOR SAFER SEX USE CONTRACEPTIVES..IF YOU'RE MATURED ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE DOING THEN DON'T BE AFRAID TO DO IT..AS LONG AS YOU ENJOY IT...BUT..MUST BE RESPONSIBLE OF WHAT YOU HAVE DONE.AND WILLING TO TAKE THE CONSEQUENCES...PARENTHOOD!!!
