A lot of people here don't speak English as their native tongue. Many of them are still learning. They deserve a break, and your help by not demeaning them.
There are a lot of people who just don't take the time to do "it" correctly. Plus a good number of them are used to text messaging and the abbreviations used to save space. These people don't deserve a break.
The problem is being able to tell the difference. It makes more sense to just ignore it, and be happy that you are able to spell and use the proper grammar.

Spelling is a real problem, and the fact that there is so much bad spelling is indicative of bad teaching in schools. However, as someone else has said there are many non-English speakers asking questions - possibly a majority, which is another reason, There is a spell check for people like me who can spell but who can't type!. But say I type - in haste - 'infer' for 'interfere', the spell check won't pick it up as both are correctly spelled words. You have to be able to sub your own questions. Always read the preview carefully to pick up any egregious errors.
