Happy valentine s day too .
You can prepare dinner on your own . I think that would be more special . If I were your man I would prefer your dinner instead of eating at restaurant . Because you spend time and effort for it . And this way is really more romantic in my opinion . And you should prepare the table . You can put candles on the table and turn the lights off while you are eating your meal .

Mixed salad from the bag (inexpensive)....don't forget the dressing! - Spaghetti & jar sauce (inexpensive) - Garlic bread - Breaded chicken patties, already prepared in a pack, and sprinkle grated mozerella cheese on the patties a few minutes before you take it out of the oven, then pour the spaghetti sauce over them - Also have a side dish, like green beans or some kind of vegetable medley. You can also have a chocolate cake for dessert (peppridge farm in the freezer .... YUM!) and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If you look for the inexpensive brands of all these products, I'll be you can do it for less than $30. p.s. Don't forget the candles!

That would be really hard to answer for any one that doesn't know your man. I would concentrate on his favorite foods rather than concentrating on fancy. If you don't already know his favorites probably the best person to talk to would be his mom. Many people have favorites that aren't expensive or difficult to make. My favorite would be a nice grilled rib-eye, but following that would be my wife's meat-loaf, or some nice fried chicken. You could fancy it up with some candles, and maybe a nice bottle of wine, or his favorite beverage after.

Hope your Valentines dinner was nice. Kind of ironic two people suggested spaghetti, and that's what my wife had waiting for me when I got home.

I think spaghetti is a sure winner. It's hearty and yummy, and it doesn't take a lot of work.

I like to take my favorite PLAIN jarred sauce, and add it to some ground beef, onions, garlic and mushrooms that I cooked. Now it's a kinda homemade, inexpensive, filling and really really easy. Get some rolls from the bakery, or those crescents that you bake up, or even those YUMMY Hawaiian rolls, and there you have it!

Good luck with whatever you decide!
