My wife moved from one office to another at her company a few months ago. I wanted to get a friend of hers to place something on her desk so when my wife got to work this morning, there it was. I don't know any of her new coworkers, so I called a friend of my wife's to ask for someone to help me out.
She gave me the name of the person, her email etc. I wrote her an email telling her my name, husband of wife etc. Want to put something on her desk, need help, referred by friend etc. I said if she didn't want to be a "co-conspirator" she would understand.
This woman freaked out and forwarded it to their security staff, thinking this was some kind of bomb threat?!?!? I got a call from a security manager asking me to give him a reason not to call the police! This woman told the security guy she does not know my wife.
We both know her! We had Christmas dinner with her for God's sake! Security guy threatened to send the cops anyways to "show how serious this is"
WTF?!?!

I know this may not be funny to you right now, but I am still laughing! That is the craziest thing I have ever heard! It is sad we are so paranoid these days. What you were trying to do for your wife was sweet and I am sorry it did not work out. By the way.....I am still laughing!

The lady is not getting, FLOWERS, CANDY, CHOCOLATE, or a card, she is probably not even getting any tonight ( or she hasn't for the past 2 years)THAT'S WHY SHE IS BITTER... HHAHAHAHAHAH Good Luck
