I'm trying to open my own business selling candles (not your ordinary "fill-up-the-bookshelf" kind) but the most popular ones w/ a matching body wash, body cream/lotion and body mist, trendy fashions that everyone in this little town has to travel about 1 hour to go shopping for, and I'm going to start out finding old straight back chairs at yard sales & distress them. I've been rolling this business name around in my head for about 6 years and others but I still keep thinking about this one. I really need some feedback on this.

The image that popped into my head when I read "Grapevine Cottage" does not match your description of your business offerings.

The closest image I came to "Cottage" was the re-selling of distressed straight-back chairs which would sit on the porch of the cottage.

Grapevine Cottage sounds more like an old fashioned way to describe an 'information portal" or maybe you would sell grape plants.

Does you retail location resemble a Cottage?

Does the majority of your customers already know what products you offer or are you expecting lots of people to drive by and say.....hmmm Grapevine Cottage...let me stop in there and get some.......?

The appropriate name for a retail location gives prospective customers enough information in order to get them to at least walk through the door.

Make a play off the names of existing similar business like Body Cottage, House of Body, Body Plus Cottage.

i dont know...if its really what u want then go 4 it--but 2 me, the word grape w/cottage reminds me of like some food-cottage cheese or something. I would do something more like candle cottage or candle hill.
