That the shark is probably another one of Dharma's experiments gone awry.

LOST is one of my favorite shows. However, I've heard of and seen the shark tail thing. My thoughts are that there probably is an underwater hatch, the hatch that Jack was locked up in, where test on sea creatures were performed. That would explain how the branding on the shark occurred. I can't wait till the next season rolls around. I think Kate and Sawyer are probably going to take the submarine back to the main island. Meanwhile Jack will patch up Ben and then somehow I think Juliette will end up shooting the guy that hates Sawyer because I heard an other will die. I also heard that two many Lost characters will die. So the big question is who? Maybe Charlie and Sayid?????

It's been released from the "Others" lab. The symbol is that of the Hanso foundation. It's been collected and had various experiments conducted on it.
Season 3 presents those locations more.
