I would give two reason for that, lack of intimacy from the significant other and also lack of self control.Lack on intimancy would be when you don't have time to communicate, working long hrs, spending less time together and children(husband and wife plus kids, most woman would follow their maternal instinct to care for them first and thus spend less time on their hubby and tend to care less of themselves)For the hubby he would feel neglected and not having intimancy with their wifes makes them feel less of a man.So all you gotta do is pull the leash n he'll start to wander and eventually stray.
Moral to all men (and ladies) cherish your vows and wife/hubby (aft all both has gone thru much and done alot to balance family affairs.)

It can be many answers.THey feel pressured. They don't care and marriage isn't going to change them. No matter what people say men can change, so maybe it just happens. In a past experience I asked someone that. why did you even marry me? Why if you were going to do this? Why hurt me so much and lie? He responded I married you because I love you and I'm so sorry. I don't know what to do to make you forgive me, but I wont stop until I do it. Some woman make them feel that they can't be together unless they get married. maybe they have kids or he is financially dependant on her. The answer can be many things. to each his own

because some people cannot grow up and make a real commitment... these are the same people that you cannot go to for any kind of help. they usually won't volunteer to help family or friends. they usually consider caring for their own children as baby sitting... stay away from this type of guy/girl they are selfish and self absorbed. they also are quite insecure and need to have many relationships to even feel like they are significant at all

well some people marry for all the wrong reasons, and sometimes they realize that when it's too late...trust me i know, then you find some one you seem connected in many ways then just sex, sex with some one other then your spouse is wrong, but a person is only human, and you can't help yourself but act on those feelings, it's a thing you rarely get with another and that's chemistry and their right men are dogs, but so are women....

They get married to have a family. They cheat because they want the cake and eat it too.

I doubt very many people enter a marriage INTENDING to cheat on their SO.
They do it for the quick-fix. The gratification. The good feelings without the hard work. They don't consider the consequences of their actions.

Trust me not all men do cheat. Those that do are not going to be satisfied no matter who they are married to. It will not matter to them how good their wife is, or how secure they are in their marriage. For them its the hunt, the conquest and moving on. Sad but true.

The same reason women do, stupidity and lack of respect. It is not a "man" thing, it is a low person thing.
