with our a doubt, the Andy Griffith show was the better show and the more poplar show. good judge of a television show is how long they stay in syndication after their network broadcasts end. the length of time a show remains in syndication is determined by the number of viewer that watch them. the Andy Griffith show has been being replayed continually for over 40 years. where can you find any of the satelite networks or cable networks that are showing reruns of the honeymooner? the only show that i can think of that has been in syndication longer the the Andy Griffith show is I love Lucy.

The Andy Griffith Show was way better. I realize that the Honeymooners was made when TV was in it's infancy but come on have you ever seen a more unrealistic set? It looks like you're watching a high school play.

I prefer the Andy Griffith Show, at least the ones with Don Knotts. Once he left, the show was never as good.

Both are good, but I prefer Andy Griffith. No particular reason, other than that I'm from the Mid-South and that show has a real down home feel to it for me. You still gotta love "to the moon Alice" & "pow, right in the kisser" & "Bang...zoom". Classic stuff. Love it, too!!!
