Yes. Stay away from them. Read in the Bible Gal. 5:19-21: "The works of the flesh are manifest, and they are fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism...As to these things I am forewarning you, the same way as I did forewarn you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God's kingdom." (Resorting to spiritism for help means that a person believes Satan's lies about death; he is seeking advice from people who endeavor to draw power from Satan and his demons. Such a person identifies himself with those who are avowed enemies of God. Instead of being truly helped, anyone persisting in such a course suffers lasting harm.)
Lev. 19:31: "Do not turn yourselves to the spirit mediums, and do not consult professional foretellers of events, so as to become unclean by them. I am your god."

I have never been to one, but I read tarot cards for others. My friends say my readings are spot on, and those that I have done for myself have been incredibly accurate as well.
Most so-called psychics and tellers are indeed fake. Most magic users believe it's wrong to charge money for their fortunes, and so most of the time, the one who doesn't ask for money in turn are probably going to be more accurate than the hotline psychic.

I believe that fortune tellers are evil and are demon possesed, in the Bible there was a servant girl who was a fortune teller, her masters got alot of money off of her, then paul prayed for the girl to get delivered and the demons came off of her and she got saved, her masters got very mad because she didnt make any more money.. I believe what the Bible says about prophets and how he told us that in the end times he would pour out his spirit on all flesh and that our sons and daughters would profesy and dream dreams and see visions. I have seen that several times at differnt churches I've been to people you have never met before can come up to you and pray for your and the Holy spirit speaks to them and tells them bits and pieces of information about your life, the thing is its not witchcraft or evil, but they are just hearing from the Holy spirit becasue in the Bible they did that alot its called the spirit of profecy, its a spiritual gift also in the bible it talks about using your gifts whether you have the gift of encouragment, or giving a word to someone, or praying over the sick and watching them get healed, this is all through the power of Jesus Christ, I think its quite amazing.

My friends talked me into talking to the fortune teller that worked in the restaurant that we were eating at. She was wrong about everything. These people are con-artists, who pray on the gullible and dumb.

I went to one with a friend a long time ago who wanted her future read, while I was sitting there with my friend the lady stopped what she was telling my friend and started telling me things that all came true, and she didn't ask for any money, she just started by saying I need to tell you this......I have never been back to one and I'm not sure I believe in all of that but I know what she told me happened.

I met with a tarot card reader in New Orleans once - she was wrong about everything.
I met with a woman who was supposedly clairvoyant - she told me all kinds of predictions for my future - she was wrong as well.
Mostly it was a fun thing to go do with friends - but it's not something I took, or would take now, seriously.

I went to a psychic party. It was weird. She knew a lot about me and my past and my family that had passed -- although there was no way she could have known that -- but she didn't get my future stuff right.... at least not yet and it's been awhile.

i have been to several and there is this one woman who amazed me. i brought many people to see her and they were very impressed by her. i purposely lost her number because i read that it was a sin to see one, u soppose to trust your future in God's hands.
fortune tellers use cold reading. they also use very vague words so that what they are saying can apply to anyone.

sorry to hear that alot of you have had negative experiences with intuitive guides/psychics, or those pretending to be
my wish for those of you who truly wish to have a great reading, is that you find a wonderful, compassionate, and compatable psychic someday who can give you proper guidance... just remember....the choice for your future IS in your own hands..an intuitive can only show you "choices" or "paths" that you may choose to follow....ultimately, it is up to you!

Indeed, I saw a psychic once. She told me I had been touched by Satan. Somehow...I had my doubts.
