Yes, you are right. Because we are born we are condemned to die. As things rise up, they fall away. All is impermenent.
But here's the rub. We're only the universe, we fall back into it. We go nowhere. Therefore there is no birth or death.
So why not just end it? Suppose that's one answer; I don't think a good one though. Why kill the patient over kidney stone? Maybe treating the problem is the answer.
Besides, you're alive, might be the only chance you'll get. So why not give your life some purpose?
I don't know what you're going through right now, doesn't sound healthy or happy. There are many times life seems bleak, it's up to you to change that. You make life as good or bad as you want it in choices you make every moment. If you're an alcoholic, put down the drink in your hand and walk away. If you're in massive debt, sell the stuff that put you there.
Oh, and there is an end of suffering btw.

In some religions, Suicide is considered a sin. Sin is, of course, frowned upon in society, and since we live in such close knit society, sin creates fear and confusion. Even the idea of someone taking their own life is enough to give most people a shock. It's no "important" per say, to stay alive. As Joseph Stalin said " One death is a tragedy; one million is a statistic." A single death may hurt some people, but in the end, the importance is weighed no different than anything else.

While we are on this Earth we have the chance to learn to deepen the sole and leave people with positive memories of us. Positive memories do not include suicide. As low as you seem to be now at another point you will be equally as high. Hang in there and learn the joy in the small things. For God sake apply a little 4:20 action if ya need to. Take a deep breath, hold it in, release. See now isn't it much more magical? You should live to make a difference!

Some people fear death, so they do whatever to stay alive as long as possible. Others prefer the known (living) than the unknown (death, afterlife, etc.). thats why they want to stay alive.
Why we are alive to begin with? I don't think anyone has a definite answer for that except God.
Why do anything at all? Might as well do something while you are here. Nobody likes bordom.
Why should you live? I'm sure there is someone who would hate to find you dead. Family, friends? If you don't want to live for yourself, then live for someone else. Your children perhaps? Family and friends? Spouse? Someone.

You choose to suffer.
Just like you choose to focus on your inevitable death, rather than living your life.
It might not be a concious choice, and the world can seem like a cold, cruel, pointless place - life can seem like a complete waste if you focus on the negative aspects.
Hopefully if you can see past your self-imposed suffering, then you can learn to enjoy yourself. Learn to do something new - take up playing a musical instrument, read books, take a trip somewhere.
These aren't just distractions to keep you from thinking about death or the pointlessness of life - they are ways of making your life have a point beyond just going to school/work and waiting to die.
Good luck.

1st thing you might want to do is think of what you're funeral would be like.... who would go.... what would they say... who would be crying? who would be confused?
2nd... how would your death impact those around you?? are you that selfish that you can't stay in this world to support others who choose to live?? Do others need you?
3rd.... What happens when you Die..... a lot of people believe in heaven and hell.... Christians believe that the only way to get to be in heaven is through Jesus Christ, they believe that he came to earth died on the cross, and was resurrected, to break the curse of sin, that all that believe in this will not perish, but will have everlasting life.... the thing that makes heaven so wonderful is how horrible hell is...... they say going to hell is like falling down a bottomless pit.... screaming, and gnashing of teeth with noone to help you..... so in order not to go to hell, you must choose life... not death
4th.... if you haven't killed yourself yet.... there is still time.... more than likely you're feeling some sort of pain....... you should ask someone close to you, or a counselor, or a doctor these questions....
also try talking to someone at a church if this interests you

David,
God created you for a purpose, to serve Him and glorify Him, and spend eternity with Him in heaven. This is only possible by surrenduring your life into His hands by faith in His Son, Jesus Christ who was crucified for your sins. You have no joy because the world does not offer you any. When you are a believer in Jesus, you have a deep love for God and others, not so focused on yourself. There is joy in making others happy David! And then there is heaven - no suffering, no tears, no sadness. The alternative to no faith is a life spent in hell where there is eternal suffering and pain. I am praying for you to choose to live for Jesus. Would you try to read the Bible, the book of John? And try and find a good church who preaches the Word. God gave up His son for you that you might have a joyful, abundant life, even in the midst of suffering and sorrow. Love to you on this Valentines Day David.

please listen to me...
life IS a school.
the lessons of life are similiar to the lessons in school.
You have to come back and re-do what
you did not learn the first time around.
(Yes... I'm saying that re-incarnation is a fact!)
We both know that life is sometimes very painful
but we cannot let this keep us from overcoming the
obsticles (lessons) we need to learn.
when things seem so bad that you feel like giving up
just remember that... life... on a chart would look just like your heart-beat would... all ups and downs.
Soo when its bad you can most definately count on your perspective on life rebounding into the good I know you know about too. peace

You don't have to live... there is no reason what so ever.
bear in mind though, that your life might mean something to others.
We were all born with a return ticket - it's not like you are going to miss the bus - so you might as well enjoy the trip while you are here... right?

the whole point of being alive is to experience things, other than that then all we know is what we are.............., if we knew what was after this physical exsistance then we would want to go on, but we only have the bible to go in as to whats in store on another level of exsistance, i want to live life as full as i can and when i cant then it will be time to move on, but that will not be up to me, God will let me know
