the night before her bday, after she goes to bed, i put up streamers in her dorrway, and she loves it! we also have chocolate chip pankakes for breakfast, daddy takes the day off< if it is during the week> and we do the obvious party! we take her to the park, and usually by then she wants a nap!

We have had a party with family for the last five years and last year was our sons first friend party that we had at local park. My son has had friends that had parties at the bowling alley, pool and a place called Pump It Up. The local Pump It Up has two large rooms with inflatable slides and other inflatables for kids to jump around or slide on. If the kids are old enough try a laser tag place.

my kids are grown with kids of their own. but, we have always celebrated with a D.Q ice cream cake. yum! yum!
