like this guy who I've known for quite a while. We have been going to lunch together at work every day since last week, after not seeing each other in months (We use to hang out often). Today, he said a co-worker ordered pizza...it just so happens to be V Day. What's up with this? Does it sound like he just wants to be friends, is nervous of what might come, or just wants the pizza?

I know he is afraid of commitment, but he is the one who made the initiative to hang out with me again. BTW, we use to be intimate, but weren't in a relationship.

I also told him that I want a relationship, and this is when he started asking me to go to lunch....

I think he just wanted pizza. Since there's been no real intimacy yet, I wouldn't take it as being "blown off" just yet.
