Look at the facts.
The ozone is opening, I'm not entirely convinced that they have started reversing the effevts,
But the ocean is getting more water mass, so that intails the ice caps melting,
Oh yeah, and don't forget about the drouts. I've never known colorado to be warmer than florida,
Yet it is. Last summer colorado had 2 full months that broke 100 degrees. That to me is a sure sign of global warning

I am skeptical about global warming. The data that is used for the computer models they keep predicting really are not reliable. I have personally asked the Alaska Climate Research Institute for data and was told they cannot provide me anything past 1947 since it is on paper and they don't have the funds to do the data entry.

When I was a teenager, the big news was global cooling and the pending ice age. Now it is global warming. A similar argument can be said about eggs. In the 1970's eggs were bad for you and you could not eat them. Now in the 2000's they are good for you. Same with alcohol. In the 1970's it was bad for you, now research shows it is good for you.

We have been having weather extremes for centuries. However we now have environmental groups scrambling for research dollars and the government is more than willing to dole it out. This past year was predicted to have the worst hurricane season in the history of man, however we had no major hurricanes hit the United States.

So I am skeptical about if it really exists. My daughter and I have been reading up on it and both sides have an argument. But the media, environmental groups, and others are not allowing the people on the other side of the coin to tell their story and present their research. So basically I believe no one really knows the truth about if it exists or not.

I have seen many warm Decembers and January's in my lifetime. So just because we have a 75 degree day in December does not confirm global warming. I have also seen snow in mid-May where I live. So does that show global cooling?

Maybe...
Honestly, I am a "liberal" I guess you can say although I had being categorized under that. I do think that global warming is an issue, however, I don't think politicians, of any party, should be making it their top priority.

I think we should all come to the realization that global warming is real. Its science, its a fact. I live in New York City, and I knew that it was real the day it was 75 degrees outside during the middle of January. C'mon.

I don't think anyone knows the whole story on global warming, or whether man is causing it, if it happening. There are a lot of people out there using the issue to make money from fearful and or kind-hearted souls who love the earth they live on.

But what I believe about global warming isn't because of the liberals. On the other hand I think the use they make of this issue is irresponsible in the extreme.

That's an interesting theory. I am quite liberal, and sometimes have to stop myself and say "hey, do I think such-n-such is incorrect just because a Republican said so". I'll bet you're right in some cases.

Here are other cases:
1) Media really has not paid this much attention
2) Fox has some guy who really seems quite crazy to me saying there is no evidence
3) some people aren't good at chemisty and math

Another point: Thinking is different from saying. I'm betting Dick Cheney and Carl Rove know global warming is real, but if they admit it, and we stop using so much oil, they lose lots of money.

Its interesting that a certain group of people can start a visionary panic like global warming,I believe the media has been keeping it under the wire a bit, Science and Technolgy that give us our information is always accessible right, its our tax dollars at work.

Climatology is a science. Findings in that field should be based on scientific research, not on political correctness. When any group of people suppresses opposing opinions, one should question their intentions. If climatologists have conflicting views, a scientific debate is appropriate. A political crusade on the subject is suspect. What are the motives? Would the vocal activists profit from one opinion or suffer loss from another?

There isn't any real hard scientific evidence that shows that global warming is really happening. All the weather issues we are having today happen a hundred years ago. It's just going around in a cycle.

This is not a liberal issue. It's a science issue. When I read the opinions of professionals in the science I don't ignore it. The Republicans like Rush think they know more than the professionals.

No. I thought about it this morning as I spent 45 minutes scraping ice from my car and concluded that global warming is a anti-capitalist plot and a scheme to scare everyone into seeing one-world government as the only thing that will save them from being broiled alive the next time they leave the house.
