I was planning on driving from Chicago, IL to Pittsburgh, PA this weekend however the current weather predictions for these areas are a bit foreboding and forecast a bit of snow.

So, if you have looked at the weather recently or have been out on the highways or plan on being out on the highways, I was wondering if you think I should keep my plans or scratch the whole deal for better weather?

I know no one can predict the future much less the weather but I am just looking for your thoughts.... Should I stay or should I go?

We're actually in Cleveland.. and we had a TERRIBLE storm here last night through this morning. (16" of snow?)
Things seem to be getting better already, though.. and they are getting the roads cleared out this afternoon..

I'm sure by weekend the roads will be much better... and it looked like the storm was going northeast to New England, not down to Pittsburgh.

I checked our local weather: (for the Akron area)
Friday: Snow showers in the morning. Highs in the mid teens and lows in the low teens.
Saturday: Chance of a few snow showers. Highs in the upper 20s and lows in the upper teens.
Sunday: Windy with a few snow showers. Highs in the low 20s and lows in the upper single digits.

You should be fine.. 80 is usually well taken care of..

Be safe!

In Chicago, on Friday, there shouldn't be any snow coming down, so hopefully it'll melt! I would still go.

It'll be fine by the weekend. Things are already looking decent here in DC.

Do it!

I don't think you should cancel your trip. Maybe just postpone it a couple a days.
