hi Newbie, the IPX protocal is not supposed to be "downloaded". It should be binded to your network adapter via control panel - network connections - adapter - property - general - install - protocol.

I would seriously avoid any LAN software requiring IPX. This is only used on Netware networks, and no use at all on the internet. It can be installed from the Windows OS cd. but machines with this added to the existing essential tcp/ip tend to become very slow on internewt as the machine wastes a lot of time determining if a Netware server is locally available before usin g tcp/ip. Also many machines have locked out their users using IPX.
