John Belushi was one of the nuttiest, funniest comedians to ever appear on tv and movies. He starred in 'Animal House' and was especially great at being one of the 'Blues Brothers'.
His best is as host or guest on Saturday Night Live. He was hilarious as the Samaraui Sushi or Bee man or even making 'hamburger, hamburger, hamburger.
It's a shame he died so young, but that's what drugs do to some people.
What he meant to me was that he was an up and coming rising star until he snuffed out his own life on drugs. He set a bad example for others to follow. I hope no one does the same with drugs. But that's what money buys.

One word -- SAMURAI!!! OK, I have to add a few more: Bluto from "Animal House," Joliet Jake Blues, veteran Weekend Update special correspondent, The King Bee, and the man that did the absolute BEST impersonation of Joe Cocker. His brother Jim is a rank amateur compared to John, and the only reason Jim got into the business in the first place is because he was John Belushi's brother.

He was the funny Belushi. Jim is the un-funny one that needs to stop trying so hard.

Bee Man

still makes me giggle, thinking of that irate glaring look coming from the bee suit.

An original, for sure.

He gave hope to those of us who were losers, slobs, and social misfits, by making us laugh at ourselves.

Too bad he died needlessly. What a waste!

His brother, Jim, however, is a jerk that should be selling cars in Fresno !!!

He was a genius, if it wasn't for him we would never had Chris Farley. We also have to put up with his brother now too though.
