Will you do something?
I sent him cards and got him a new shirt..he said "I can never remember which one is v-day." And no, he isn't going to surprise me later.

I am sorry. I try to look at it as just another day and what you give he will give more to you in other ways. Some guys think that Vantines Day is over rated and can't remember important dates. It was very sweet of you to get him something and to get him something from your baby boy. What goes around comes around and hopefully for Mother's Day, he will return the favor.
Happy Valentines Day.

That is so sad, I'm sorry. My ex husband was like that, once he even gave me a bottle of really cheap wine and said "hey at least I remembered this year" I dont know what to say to cheer you up. You're in my thoughts and my prayers, thats about all I can do at this point

A lot of men are like that. If it makes you feel better my husband is like that too. I used to try by giving him cute things and presents but after a few years i gave up.
For me this day is just like any other day.

My husband and I don't do anything for v-day. It's a silly "holiday". I don't need candy, flowers or jewelry to know that my husband loves me. He shows me in other ways.
I think if you have a good husband and this is your only complaint...well you're still pretty lucky.

Does your husband tell you he loves you on other days of the year? Try not to put too much emphasis on the actual day itself, but more on the fact that you love him enough to get him something from you and your son! Happy Valentine's Day!

He might not think it is a big deal. Tell him it is to you and that you expect something on valentines day. And drop hints next year.

I'm in the same boat. Give him a one year's notice for v-day next year. There is no reason for them to forget this when there is a whole year, especially if it is important to you.

Don't sweat it. The next time he comes home hungry and tired, tell him..."oh, dinner? I can never remember which meal is which..."
Then, get your keys, hop in the car and go to _________. It will help if your baby is teething too.
