My Tragic Valentine....
Thought of you across the way,
On this lonely valentines day.
You said that roses cost too much
And chocolates were'nt good enough,
A card would never arrive on time
And you hate the taste of red wine.
You make me laugh,
The ignorance of what you do,
But its all part of why I love everything about you.
Later on that night you came,
No you didnt catch the train.
You came to me in a dream,
Holding beautiful flowers and strawberries with cream.
You did nothing but to say,
I love you,
Happy valentines day.

congrats! i actually think that's DAMMMMED GOOD! great work without straining for rhyme & meter, as so many do.
