Especially when Chrysler is laying off 13,000 employees. Where will these immigrants find jobs?

That is major stupidity... they need to learn to care about themselves enough to stand together for the betterment of their own country instead of fighting over religion, etc. Do you think that by changing countries, they will change their thinking? We will pay dearly if we keep letting in people who do not believe in America.

Considering we have created 2,000,000 refugees and killed at least 200,000 in Iraq I would say 7000 is a small sacrifice.

As for your Chrysler jobs...you need to take that up with the Board of directors of the CORPORATION.

You should watch this...because the American empire is about to go down the tubes and you can thank the Military-Industrial complex Ike warned us about in 1961.

Maybe, just maybe, some of them will be entrepreneurs and I'll bet a few of them make really good falafel. Self starters, my friend.

When you consider that 7,000 people won't even fill most modern sports arenas, that's a very small number.

Besides, we already pretty much have an open border with Mexico, thanks to the SuperCorridor and NAU aspirations going on, so what's 7,000 more people going to do?

There are at least 7,000 people that have fully supported the war for the sake of spreading democracy and freeing the Iraq people. Now is the time for them to open up a spare bedroom.

The United States enjoys nearly full employment. I think we can accommodate 7,000 people from Iraq with very little effort.

Consider how many people come to this country each year from various countries? 7,000 would be a very slight number by comparison, and the people who have become refugees are certainly deserving of our help.

Every time we take in refugees from some war zone, our government coughs up half a million dollars to each family to help them set up residence.

This is a bunch of garbage, why should these people get a dime.

And each and every one of them is owed an apology from Bush.
