Man, I have been wondering the same thing. Talk about a major hole in the storyline. The whole thing was a joke. I thought that it would be similar to Wrestlemania 23, with the fued culminating at Summerslam and Vince winning RAW back. It was just brutal. What a waste of time. It was just stupid. It was poorly planned and it didnt't make any sense at all. I was thinking the same thing when I was watching it. The only rational conclusion I could come up with, and even this is stretching it, was that even tough Donald Trump was the new owner of RAW, Vince still owned WWE as a whole, and therefore he would have to bear some of the losses RAW incured. Stupid I know, but that's the best I could come up with.
