Absolutely. So is Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Independence Day, etc.

of course have you priced a dozen roses lately . most people think that they have to give there loved one some big expensive gift and diamonds lots of them. just do something reall special fresh picked flowers and a love note would really show you cared not some gift that you have to pay on for the next two years.

Yes, it's as overcommercialized as any holiday... but if you DON'T do something for your sweetheart, you'll almost certainly be in the dog house! I strive for originality and thoughtfulness. Stay away from mass-marketed stuff and customize a truly meaningful, well thought-out gift for someone you love, whether it's girlfriend, boyfriend or Mom.
