I need to go buy a birthday gift for my friend today (he's turning 23). I was at his apartment last night, and he has no games, so I was thinking I'd get him one. Anyone know of any cool board games that are around $20?

Here are a few that are good for about 6-8 people.
Balderdash, Mindtrap 1 and 2, Loaded Question, Pit, Cranium

Sequence, It's fun and not very hard. Costs around $12. Available at Target, Kmart, Walmart, etc. My whole family loves to play this game, but great for just 2 players.

Best board game I've ever played is the Settlers of Catan. It's more in the $40 range, but most of the good board games are. Another good one is Heroscape.

hmmm a nice bored game is a 12-pack and no one to share with.
actually 23 yr old guy (im guessing because of the question) usually plays drinking games etc.

There are a lot of video games on the market now. I can't think of any of the names but, my grandson and his wife have a ball playing them. Other wise Trivia Pursuit is fun.
