Yes they do- Even these small animals need exercise every day! Mice will also enjoy exploring your home in a roll-about ball, which gives them room to roam but keeps them safe from other companion animals and getting lost... Be sure they are always supervised however, in an escape proof area! Most small animals are nocturnal and sleep during the day, getting most active at night.

Small animals can be seriously hurt if squeezed or dropped and should not be handled by small children. Never, ever pick them up by their tails; that could really hurt them.

Although I'm not a pet expert, I would tend to think that any kind of rodent, mice, rats, hamsters, need to have an outlet for the energy they are building up. Since they can't get the kind of exercise they would get in the wild in a small cage, then I would suggest either a spinning wheel, which you will see him/her using often, or one of those hamster balls, even for mice. They need exercise and they need to release energy like all animals. This goes for most domestic pets, especially those who stay in smaller apartments or cages.

Absolutely. They are very energetic! Get them a wheel. If it makes too much noise, get one of the new plastic ones, or take it out during the day.

Mice have loads of energy and will be happier with something to do.

Mice are very energetic and should have lots of enrichment in their cage. Besides and exersize wheel they should have something to burrow in, toys to push around and stable things to climb ontop of.

yes they do but make sure that it isn't a wire wheel as they can get their tails caught or their little feet. one of my friends mice lost an eye from a wire wheel. she got her head stuck.

yes they do i have a 10 gallon tank that i keep mice in until i feed them to my snake and eventhough they wont live in there forever they still are always on the wheel. so it would be a good idea to have one.

Not necissarily. They don't need it, they just enjoy it. Mice do find ways to exercize, weither it be running around thier cage, or even flipping.
