We live just North of St. Augustine. Here is a list of our and our daughter and her family's favorite things to do and see in St. Augustine. Your first night night take a horse drawn carriage ride down town, 2nd night do a walking ghost walk. I would like others suggest the old fort, alligator farm and Ripley's especially if you have children 5-15 with you, if one of you is a golfer then the golf hall of fame. Also I would suggest the tour at Flagler College. I would avoid the old section of down town (t-shirt shops, fudge shops, etc.), the "train rides", anything that says "the oldest" as in the oldest house, school house, drug store, etc. If the weather permits go Vilano Beach for a while, (you can drive on the beach). Have fun.

There is a very cool alligator museum in St. Augustine.. I think it took about 2 1/2 hours to go through.. but it was kind of expensive.. ($17 for adults, I think?)
Make sure you take the little tour of the oldest schoolhouse in America..
Have a great time!

Depends on wht you're into. The Old Fort is cool, as is the Ripleys Believe it or not. But the Wax Museum may amuse others. DO NOT waste your time with The Old Jail, or The Fountain of Youth. Better go on one of the haunted tours after dark. The lighthouse is cool too!
