No.

Not all animals have brains, things like insects and worms do not. Nor do they need to have a central nervous system. However it is possible in some animals for certain brain-like activity to be distributed across the whole of the body. This is why, to a limited extent, worms can behave intelligently.

This is different from an actual brain because a brain is an individual organ. And to have a brain you need specialised brain cells. Worms' bodies are only made up of one kind of cell, that's why you can cut them in half and they will survive.

Earthworms have simple brains which specialize in directing body movement in response to light, and not much else. To show how simple the brain is, if an earthworm's brain is removed, changes in its general behavior are hardly noticeable

Paul, it has a concentration of nerve cells and receptors at the front end of its body that might be viewed as a simple brain. This phenomenon is called cephalization.

Of course they do,must be more clever than us,ever tried to cut one in half,this happened once when i was digging with a spade,it turned into two worms,clever or what.

earth worms don't have a brain, per se, they have cerebral ganglions which are simply a small agglomeration of nerve cells
