I sleep better sometimes on the couch with the fire place on, it's so cozy and peaceful, my hubby gets mad at me.

for us, it really depends. our couch is very comfortable, and so is our bed. sometimes, i go to bed before my husband and he stays up playing video games or whatever and falls asleep on the couch... sometimes, if i can't get him to stop snoring, i will go out to the couch... when we were younger, he used to get mad, thinking this was some kind of betrayal, which was rediculous, and he eventually realized that. now he knows that it is because i need sleep... i can't function otherwise... and that is ok...

I would say I have slept on the couch about 10 times in the past year, but only maybe about 3 because of a fight with my wife. The others were because I was having a bad nights sleep or snoring a lot and I was disturbing my wife.

Ever since we got a king size bed though, I haven't had to.

My husband and I sleep seperately and have for 10 years. He usually works over nights but when he doesnt he sleeps on his air mattress in the living room while I sleep in the bed. If we go on vacation in the hotel room I sleep on the bed and he pulls out the hide away bed. Some people just can not sleep with someone else. Thats just how my husband is. Sometimes he will fall asleep in bed with me, but a couple of hours later he gets up and goes to the living room.

Very rare about 2-3 times a year, on the couch.
Only if I can't sleep and always after my husband is asleep. Yes it does bother him sometimes. Don't know why it has nothing to do with him. Sometimes I just can't get comfortable in the bed.

I like sleeping on the couch, but that's just for naps, say on a cold and wet Saturday afternoon, nothing on TV, after a few glasses of wine, that's a lovely time to sleep on the sofa. I much prefer being in bed with my man though.

LOL! It's a toss up!

My Hubby & I take turns sleeping on the couch. (Of course, NOT every night!)

Many times we do it because we don't want to disturb the other's sleep. When you have a rough night, it's easy to wake your partner. Also, if your sick, it's better to sleep away from your partner so they don't get sick.

Reasons: Restless leg syndrome, cronic back problems, snoring, tossing & turning, and the best reason = sick.

And we have only been married 4 years!

I sleep better in the bed, but I was asked to leave our bedroom. Now I'm on the couch.

I prefer the couch too. My husband moves around too much in his sleep. Besides I usually fall asleep on the couch while watching television.

My husband doesn't sleep in the same room with me, as he snores too much. I sleep in the master bedroom, and he has a bed in the guest room. It's fine with me, I sleep much better when I have the whole bed to myself, anyway.
