Both answers are good. The warmest weather is January-March but January tends to be pretty windy in spots. Also the early parts of the rainy season are cheaper and you will still see lots of sun--it will be greener and prettier. June is a good month, particularly late June.

The Dry season starts in December, bvut most of the best fruits are not ripe yet. January and february are also good options but you will be traveling in peak season when teh costs are higher. If you travel during the raininy season the rain is usually for a few hours during the day and not too bad. on teh coasts it is almost always warm and the mountains can get a bit chilly. Pura Vida!

I have never been but friends from there tell me January and February because it's warm but not as rainy as in other parts of the year.
