where i live you would be charged with reckless endangerment and illegal discharge of a firearm. you cant legally even discharge a paintball gun in the city limits.

If it is an accident, people do not get charged unless it was because of some sort of gross negligence. That is why when a hunter gets shot accidentally, no one is charged. Accidents happen.

This holds true for other things as well. Say there is a bolt loose in my steering column. I am doing 65, the speed limit, and the bolt comes out. I lose control, and hit another car. Now, my insurance will pay for the damages, but I am not charged because this was something that doesn't really constitute negligence. Had I been doing 85 in the 65 zone, then yes, I can be criminally charged.

sometimes accidents happen. That is why they are called accidents.

No senator Biden did it the other day when he made comments about Barack Obama being the first black to run for President who was "clean, intelligent" etc. Watch the fallout from Jessie Jackson and his crowd, it was hilarious!

Depends where you do it. If you do it in your house or on the street, that would also be illegal discharge of a firearm.

I think it's a good time to admit yourself to the mental ward of your local hospital. Seriously. Before you or somebody else gets hurt.
