I called my husband at midnight to wish him a Happy Valentine's Day and he goes into a 10 minute tirade on the phone about some of his employees. It's like when he was done I just didn't say anything. I was like I just called to say Happy Valentine's Day. Then he decided that he better apologize. So that's my day so far.

The most romantic gesture came from one of my work mates. He bought every member of staff in the office a rose, hugged them, said how much they meant to him and smiled in an open way.
He really meant it. It was humbling and moving.

My boyfriend went to the doctor. It doesn't sound romantic, but it is. He hates to go, but he knows that I worry about his health. He took a step to ensure that we will have a future together. That's worth more to me than flowers and candy.

Two tiny heart shaped boxes of chocolates, a bouquet [sp] of flowers (that I'm actually sharing), two snickers hearts, a card, and a chocolate heart with red gel writing on it.

My co worker said "Good Morning" when I walked into work today. So far, that's been the highlight of my day.
