It used to be a country of the people, by the people , and for the people. Now it is a country that has the best government that money can buy. It is corrupted by crooks and corporations. An example of that would be the economy. It is an economy of the corporate world. In corporate terms, the economy is booming. That, however does not transfer to individuals. Proof of that is that personal savings are at an all time low, while personal debt is at an all time high.

It is what you allow it to be. Remember...you have the choice of who runs the country. You have to believe in the democratic process and follow through on your obligations as a citizen. Get involved. Do your best to stimulate intelligent conversation on the relevant topics. And make sure you do your part by voting...its the only way the voice of the people can truly be heard!
