Thats why fools like AL GORE have changed the term to "global climate change" hoping we don't notice how stupid they sound. These are the SAME people who in the 1060s told us an 'ice age' was just around the corner.

Holy cow! I cannot believe these answers. There is no doubt that the global climate is warming. Please, do not confuse weather with climate. The weather in one region may indeed be very cold -- even record cold. That does not change the fact that the climate worldwide is getting warmer. The polar caps are melting. Glaciers around the world are disappearing. Just because you're shivering and have a pile of snow in your front yard doesn't mean that the earth is not headed for a global climate related calamity, including rising sea levels, more potent and numerous typhoons and hurricanes, droughts and famines. Think about how ignorant it sounds, "It's cold outside, so the entire scientific community must be out to lunch about this global warming thing." Sheesh.

Not global cooling. Global warming does make both ends of the spectrum (summer and winter) more extreme. Remember the temperature worldwide has only raised an average of 1 degree so although the cooler months is due to global warming its not that extreme yet.

We may be experiencing global cooling. And it may be affecting the temperature on Pluto.
The real question is: what if we actually try to reverse what we think is our effect on the global climate, and actually end up causing global cooling? The gigantic molten lava core of the earth, I'd say, is what causes climate changes.

Depends on where you are. In Germany, there's been no winter, hardly any snow and no below zero temperatures. It's not hot, but it isn't winter either. And Germany used to have winters - not much on summers, but there used to be winters.
