I’m sorry to hear about your leg. In fact there is not much you can do until it gets better and you can use crutches or a wheelchair. In order not to get too depressed with this condition you should call your friend for a cast signing party. This surely will cheer you up.
If you have any questions or just want to someone to talk to please feel free to send me an e-mail.
I wish you a speedy recovery

I hear ya! I have a broken foot and had surgery to screw the bone back together, and fusion/plate/screws in my neck and have to get around in a wheel chair for now. I'm bored out of my mind and stay on the computer, too, but I make jewelry, too, and that helps a lot. You can order everything on line with instructions. Just Google "jewelry making", lots of sites will come up. It's a creative outlet and something to show for your down time. My children gave me a bed tray with baskets on the side so I can have everything right here, on the couch or in bed. It's easy and fun and takes away the boredom. Hope you're better soon, I know what a pain it is.

Play cards. Read. Watch TV. Fold laundry. Mix cookie dough.
Lift weights. Single Yankee Doodle. Learn to play a recorder.
Do your homework.
Design a webpage. OK that's computer but -- it can be fun!
Draw. Paint.

Besides the computer, you could read, write, do a collage or draw/paint to name a few things.
You could do a treasure map (collage) & put in everything that is important in your life. It's really great to do this with friends.
You could think of ways to redecorate your room. :)

Lots and lots of arts and crafts. Takes away the boredom, and it also lets you feel a sense of accomplishment when you have completed something you like. Make presents for your friends and family.

you could go get your hair done. You could go shopping and have one of your friends push you around in a wheel chair. Or you could go to a movie..
