You need to buy a pdf writer. Once installed, print the document or any other type of file and select the pdf writer as printer. A browser will open to allow you to route to the destination where you want to keep the pdf file. Then you select the name of the pdf file and Ok it. The pdf file is created.

Install Openoffice its better than ]Micro$oft Office and automatically exports documents to PDF format http://www.openoffice.org/ and it's free!!!

Buy acrobat, or search google for "doc to pdf" and you will find many freeware utilities.
