I would determine if it was Asian or African. If it was a friendly Asian elephant I would keep it and go back to sleep. If it was a wild African elephant I would sneak out the window and ask for help from an experienced sportsman.

I collect elephants -- stuffed, figurines, etc. My bedroom is full of them, so I ALWAYS wake up with them watching me sleep!!
