Usually the differences are in the languages available for various regions.

most of the time the games are region all but i can't say that thats the rule so there may be some that don't work

I didn't think you could until recently i was proved wrong, you can, even japanese games work but navigating the menu's is a bit of a pain.

yeah i don't see why not all you hav eto do is get a converter for it, it shouldn't cost that much if you search for one on the net. happy to help
