at the least you would need an conversion plate to mate up with the bell housing but i suspect it will not be that easy. depending on the year a 350 will fit with few problems and if you wanted to you could upgrade to a FI engine simply with one of several hot rod kits

With the right amount of talent and knowhow you can do anything. I would put in allot of research first. I do not recommend it. Unless you have a firm idea of what you are doing. I would 1, rebuild the old engine, 2, buy a new engine, 3 find and engine that fits.

As long as you have engine compartment room and the bellhousing will match up to the engine. Transmission engine attachement is generally the main problem with using certain engines. Unless you are just a really good fabricator and can make your own.

With a whole bunch of work, you could do it. I have seen lots of race cars(short tracks), with set-ups that would make your head spin. Some worked ok, and some didn't. Be prepared to spend the money though. lol
