I know to go to the copyright website and submite all the forms and the price is $45 but does that fee only cove one song or the whole album?

On the bottom of your music, put the following "© copyright 2007 [insert name]"

Then, make a copy of the printout and mail it to yourself in an envelope that you have written a pattern across the flap after sealing. When you receive the mail, don't open it. It has a sealed, dated copy of that music.

You can copyright either an indivdual song or an album full of music.
You just need to be sure to read ALL the information on those forms.
