I often do out of comfort. I naturally tend to cross my legs, and so it happens automatically a lot of the time. However, there are many instances when women are supposed to cross their legs, such as formal meetings, gatherings, weddings, performances (if you are sitting down), dates, and other times when you are in any situation that is formal. For centuries, women have been taught to keep their legs closed (by crossing them) to make sure they don't look suggestive or sleazy. Some women now think this way of thought is old fashioned. It's really up the woman. Hope this helps!

If I wear a skirt or dress I usually do... don't like that open to the world slutty look but wearing jeans generally I don't cross them.
