hi i fell in love with a guy an year ago. but my family is a typical indian family against love marriage. His family too. So we guys dropped the plans of marriage left it to future to decide. Two years ago i was a girl who used to listen to my dad never went out with friends never had friends basically never said lies at home. but then friends came in my life. life changed. life which i like fun & studies.not nly tudies which was before. then i fell in love with this guy. He is a very good person. Being in the same engineering branch we helpeach other in studies. In the mean time my parents always stopped me from going anywhere. always questioned me. the twist is the guy i like want to go to US for Post graduation. Even i wanted to do PG so we thought to forget about marriage and love but pursue our dreams . My dad is not allowing me to give the entrance exam also on the basis i thought i ll decide later. Now i want to go to US with that guy but my dad against it. whom to listen

ok here we are..first of all ur still study.. u lean still on with your parents i dont mean that your parents are not bad i dont dont mean it ur bad too.just think what ur parents do just for u. ur dad dont give u money for entrance maybe he think that u maybe do something if ur to far from them.u have to understand ur parents too why do they do that such a things they look forward about ur future maybe ur still so young but then if u can manage ur self u dont lean on to your parents then why u follow them.ur parents is there to protect u and advice u.. but if ur in love they just have to sit and listen and protect and advice u they have no right to say i dont want that guy for u.. they have nothing to say if its heart talking. ur parents will not be the one to be with.. only you..parents of ur and other parents they should only give there best and not to include about heart talking

Parents are usually right about things but in this case if you both love each other and both know in your hearts you are right for one another ........then you must ask yourself are you willing to give up your family if they can't forgive this.......(I think they will come around) But times have changed and your parents have to accept it and this is a step of leaving the old Indian ways behind.

To fall in love is great but don't ever let your heart rule over your head 'coz it's going to be the greatest mistake you'll gonna commit in your entire life.

Follow your heart. You can't live with your parents forever. At some point, you have to start living your own life.
