Don't change who you are, you are sweet and lovely and you don't mind expressing yourself emotionally. Your friend could learn from you how not to be closed off emotionally.
You stand up for who you are. You are not daft, you are not lame and telling someone 'love ya' is not creepy. You tell your friend that is who you are and how you are and that she hurts your feelings when she reprimands you for being yourself.
She may be a little homophobic. The next time she tells you not to say something like 'love ya', tell her to quit acting like your trying to seduce her, she's not your type, your type comes with extra parts. Then laugh because it's supposed to be a joke.
Never change who you are, the world needs you.

Do you want a sexual relationship with her? Sounds to me maybe you do.
Either way, best thing you can do is show her if you find she does not like you to express your feelings in words.
Do something for her that she will really appreciate, that is an endeavour for you to do, maybe buy her something nice she can cherish.

I'm pretty sure she knows. Just tell her thank you now and then for being such a great friend. Never do something for someone expecting something in return and it's from the heart. Now that's a really good friend!!!!!

Send her a text (cause it's so casual) and tell her that you appreciate her putting up with a daft cow like yourself (even if ur not... if u kinda make urself sound bad... it relaxes the whole situation).
that way she'll just think your being funny but thanking her all the same.

look for something that says Friends Forever. I found that in a picture frame, and gave it to a dear friend of mine, with a photo of the 2 of us. She loved it, and so would your friend.

Sure, don't complicate things. Talk from your heart, tell her exactly how you feel. Being honest, will help cement your friendship, and help build trust between you both. Friendship is a rare thing, guard it, nourish it, and watch it flourish. Good luck

Put it in a letter. That way she can read it without getting embarrassed, and if it really creeps her out she can pretend to know nothing about it. Write it, send it, don't ever mention it.

you should tell her you appreciate everything she has done for you and you appreciate her being there when you need her. You should also let her know that it is hard to find a friend like her.

Give her a french kiss when she is drunk, then tell her it's your way of showing your max love. She will laugh, and if u r lucky u'll get one back...
or just take her out for dinner as a "thanks u r an awesome friend"
