I live here, and I went to school here. There some great universities - some more diverse than others. Most are tough to get into because so many people apply - the Top Schools are Harvard, MIT (HUGE $$, Extremely tough to get into), other great schools are Boston University, Boston College, Northeastern. Rent is VERY high in Boston proper - if no student housing then consider living outside Boston - Malden to North or Quincy to South - both are pretty diverse towns.

I wont lie and say no racism. Sadly I do believe it's here, but a small number of people who can ruin it for all. It's a great smaller, walkable city though - I couldnt see myself living anywhere else

Boston is a nice city. I don't live there, but have visited a few times. It's a liberal city, so i doubt you will find much racism. It's expensive to live there. Most people who I knew that lived there after college had to advertise for roommates to be able to afford their rent.

The universities like Harvard and MIT are hard. I don't know about the other ones. Probably a community college there wouldn't be so difficult.

There is a whole mix of income classes there, like any other big city.

A) 35 because one hundred% is all or an entire B)0.35 C)80x9=720 so like a million/9 of 720 is 80 D)70x8=560 so about 0.12 of 560 is 70 E)840 and the entire volume of eighth graders is a million,050 F)50 s x 40 =2000 so 200cmx40= 8000 sturdy success!!!

Well, it's a large city so it's a mix of people, same as in every place. The people as a whole are not racist, of course. Imagine if an entire city was. Then again, I'm sure you will find racist people, same as you will anywhere. There are many universities and colleges, so you'll find a good mix. However, it is one of the most expensive places in the country to live.

I live in Boston and I love it here. There is always something to do and the culture is unbelievable. I didn't go to any of the universities here, but there is a broad spectrum of schools that you can choose from-Harvard all the way down to Suffolk. The crime rate in Boston is relatively low in comparison to most major US cities. It's rather expensive to live here, a 1BR will set you back about $950/month, depending on where you live. It's also a melting pot of people. You have your pretentious academics, your trendy artsy people, the loud and obnoxious sports fans, and your average person just living day to day and making the best of life. There is a large gay community also, but I tend to bond with gay men even beter then other females, so it's perfect for me.

Boston is a great city to live in, but just because I love it doesn't mean you will.

There's a lot of history in the area as well.

Boston is very nice and has some very beautiful places in it. There are some rich and poor places. The universities and colleges are great. The people are very racist. It is so much better than the Bronx. I lived in both places and liked Boston better.

Boston sucks? NY is the city that sucks with all your crime and whatnot.

And no matter how you cut it, the Yankees are the ones who ultimately suck.
