Im a guy and i almost always cross my legs but only when i'm in the ground sitting down with a tray of food and i need to put it higher than my lap.. so i cross my legs to help that, or just for comfort.
But girls often sit on chairs etc with crossed legs. For me it's comfortable , some men do do it.. but it's not that common. Maybe i've seen some older men doi t but not the young men.
I mean the crotch is there, it feels bad anyways.
So is it that women do it more cause they don't have a male part ?

I cross my legs because it's feels comfortable; there's no way that I can sit in a chair and *not* cross my legs.

No, no one's body makes them cross their legs. Women are taught at a young age that it is not lady-like to sit with their legs hanging open. And yes, I think that it would be a lot more comfortable for a woman to have her legs crossed as opposed to a man. Due to the fact that there is of course, no male parts there in the way.

Might be genetic, years of wearing skirts and robes instead of pants. So women naturally cross their legs even when they wear jeans.
Personally, I'm a guy, and often my girlfriend tells me to stop crossing my leg "girly style". I think it's comfortable and that's why I do it and I don't care if someones tell me it looks gay. I don't cross my legs for other persons, just because I feel comfy doing it. To hell with people judging you according to your siting position. I do it mostly when I'm at my computer.

Well, most women do wear more than just pants, they wear skirts and dresses and I don't think you would want to see a woman sitting in front of you with open legs and a dress on. It's something that most of us women learned as little girls. It goes with proper etiquette that's all. We 're being respectable.

Women are conditioned that we must cross our legs for manners. Men are allowed to be how they are and more open. If you are male how come you have a female avitar?

women cross their legs because they wnat to feel lady like. crossing legs make women feel sexy. i do it because i feel sexy and when i feel sexy i do it.
